This finely crafted Sparkling Pinot Noir Rosé is a vibrant and lively expression of red summer berries and floral notes, with a delicate and refreshing finish

Vinification Details

Crushed and destemmed straight to press with minimal time on skins ensured the extraction of only the lightest of colour. Fermentation was performed in stainless steel in cool temperatures, followed by 4-6 weeks on light lees to enhance the texture.

History

Founded in 1997 by Andrew and Susie Nugent and still family owned. Originally a dairy farm, Bird in Hand champions social inclusions and advocacy through artisan wine. Bird in Hand's Woodside Estate spans 80 fertile acres in the Adelaide Hills, where the cooling influence of the Gulf of St. Vincent meets the clouds of the Mount Lofty Ranges

Regional Information

Adelaide Hills has a well deserved reputation as one of Australia's most exciting cool climate areas. Due to its altitude, the region is significantly cooler than its neighbours. Long dry summers and Autumns lead to wonderful acidity in the fruit.
