Want to close your Tesco account? If you do so, you'll also lose the benefits of Clubcard. And if you have vouchers or points or you don’t have the Tesco app, you’ll need to contact us first.
Otherwise follow these steps in the app:
- First, sign in. Then on top-right of the homepage or home screen, select the person icon to go to your account.
- Select ‘Security and password’.
- Select ‘Close Tesco accounts’.
- Read the ‘Account closure’ details and select ‘Close my Tesco accounts’ at the bottom.
- Choose whether to get a 6-digit code by text or phone call and select ‘Get code now’. This is so we can confirm it’s you.
- Type the code in the verification page or screen.
- Review the details of the benefits you’ll lose if you close your account. If you’re happy to continue, select ‘Confirm account closure’.
That's it. We'll email you to confirm the closure's in progress.
