For your security, we’ll need to confirm it’s you whenever you update your personal details. You can do this in 1 of 2 ways: by text message or using your Clubcard number.
Verifying by text message
To set up account verification by text, we need to verify your mobile number. You’ll need your phone and Clubcard number.
- At Tesco.com, sign in and go to the ‘Personal details’ page of your account. Or using the Tesco app, sign in. Then on the top-right of the homepage, select the person icon for your ‘Account’ page.
- Select ‘Personal details’. You’ll see ‘Verified’ and a green tick under your number if it’s already verified. If not, you’ll see ‘Verify your number’ with a warning icon.
- To use this number, select ‘Verify your number’. We'll text you a 6-digit code. Enter the code and your number’s verified.
- To use a different number, select ‘Edit’. For security, enter the 11th to 14th numbers of your Clubcard account – 4 numbers in total.
- Type the phone number, select ’Save’ and we’ll text you a 6-digit code. Enter the code and your number’s verified.
Verifying with your Clubcard number
If you don’t have your Clubcard to hand, see if you have the email we sent you when you opened your account. If you can’t find it, contact us.
